I never expected to run a 5K race. In fact, I never expected to run again in my life, period. Having battled chronic illness for 17 years and suffered a serious leg injury 10 years ago, running wasn't even on my mental radar. But I did. Read my latest blog post for more.

I hope this uplifts, gives hope, or inspires someone today.

congrats peter! I am glad to see someone out there doing things that to most people with sickness are hard to believe. I have chronic pancreatitis and sod plus on top of that kidney disease and heart disease. I am not sure you know what cp is, but it pure a word i wish to not say. I have fought to stay in shape just like you it is harder and harder as time goes on. I workout 6 days a week. I used to run, but something happen to my left knee and now I am unable to do that. I am glad to see another person not giving up. I always say on the days you feel the worst and think you shouldn't exercise or stay active is the days it benefits you the most. :)
