I just found out that my GFR level is 81.4 and should be around 107. 81.4 is closer to the levels of someone around 70 years old =(. I am 33 years old, white, and healthy otherwise. Just trying to do some research and find out what might be going on. Any one have any insight? I am trying to be patient and wait for my doctor to tell me what she wants to do next. She is consulting with a Kidney Specialist to see where they want to go with this. I have a family history of kidney disease (my father struggled with it). Is there any way I can reverse this?

Thanks for any insight you may have....

I don't think they really start worrying until it's below 60.
