Preface: I have Crohns.

So last week I was awoken at 1 am with HORRIBLE stabbing pains in my lower right side, I tried getting up and took me forever because it was so painful to even move. I had a temp of 101.6. When I was able to walk, I was hunched over and could not stand upright. I also was extremely constipatedThe following day I had such a desire to urinate but couldnt, I even felt IMMENSE pressure in my groin/penis to urinate. At some point the next day my symptoms were improving and after 24 hours of initial pain I was all better. After 24 hours I was able to have 3 VERY successful bowel movements in the morning. All my pain and symptoms were gone.

Does that sound like someone who passed a kidney stone?

Sounds as if it's a good possibility. Kidney stones can be extremely painful, actually have had a few that dropped me to that floor and kept me there to crawl to the bathroom.

Just make sure to get it checked out if it happens again or you have any other symptoms such as pain or inability to urinate.

Billo, passing kidney stones, can be the worse pain some people ever experience. Lands some in the hospital. I actually saw my father turn green with pain.

so drink plenty of water to help those babies pass! Get checked out by the doc, you may want to know what size they are.
