Ok, so I am new.  I have had occasional kidney pain for about 10 years now.  I finally connected it to eggs about 2 years ago.  I later realized that pineapple also causes the exact same reaction.  My Dr thinks I just have an intolerance to these foods.  I have a feeling he is missing something, so I am coming to you.
After about an hour of eating these foods, my kidneys become achy.  No sharp pains, just a constant ache along with fatigue & low fever.  This lasts for 4-6 hours & I am literally useless during this time.  I have to lay down & rest.  I have searched the internet for some type of explanation, but have come up with nothing.
Could this be just a simple food intolerance?  Or, should I have my Dr do some tests?  If so, what type of tests?

Welcome to Healing Well.

Sorry I haven't had any experiences as you have had. My kidney troubles are mostly with reoccurring stones. I also have dealt with severe GERD and know there are lots of people who have found that food allergies effect this a lot. So there may be a connection as the body can do strange things with an allergic reaction.

Take care,
