Not sure if this post should belong here but here it goes
My mother is 50 years old and has both kidney and liver failure.
She has never drank in her life, no drugs,no hepatitis; diagnosis was autoimmune cirrhosis.
She's been in ICU for a month now
And a nurse over heard doctors say they want to give up on my mom!!!/:
Should we request for a transfer?
Need some advice
I'm going through a really hard time.

Very sorry to hear of your mom's condition. I am no where near qualified to give you advice on this and am extremely sorry for this.

Have you talked with the nurses about this? They are extremely qualified to answer your questions of this.

Take care,
Bill

You might want to also check on the Hepatitis forum here at HealingWell. It is a much busier forum and you may get much more helpful answers.

Otherwise, sit down with your mother and her doctors for a talk to find out what they are planning. What you heard may or may not be true.
