pheochromocytoma

confused My god daughter was recently diagnosed with Pheochromocytoma and has spread to her spine. She will begin getting radiation soon, and I think chemo. Can anyone help me in what awaits her.. What can we do? lost and in shock... Thank you

First off I am very sorry to hear your god daughter has this. My prayers for her and her family.

I didn't know anything about this condition and did a little research on Google. I found that it is usually benign, but 10% or so can be cancer. It also is usually removed surgically, but can come back and spread. It seems there is a high chance of it returning.
From what I read surgery is the usual 1st treatment along with close blood pressure monitoring.
