Hello everyone, I have not been on here since July. That's when I found out that I am at stage 4 kidney failure.
At this time I remain at GFR= 18  & creatinine of 2.5.  The Doplar showed that my left kidney is not functioning at all.
I go in for labs every 2 months.
The last two days I have had a lot of lower back pain. It is at my waist level and is most painful when I inhale.  There is also discomfort in the front/sides .  I called the nurse and she said the doctor is out of town and if it gets too bad to go to Prompt Care.  Do you think this pain has anything to do with my kidneys? Is this one of the symptoms?

When I get stones, my 1st symptom is usually lower side back pain. It very well could be your kidney causing this.

Take care,
Bill
