I have my first kidney stone. It's small and staying in the kidney but it's very painful. I've been to the er a couple times for it because of the pain. I go to see an urologist tomorrow morning. Anyone have any advice for dealing with kidney stones?

-Chronic abdominal pain due to nerve damage from an open surgery
-Back pain due to arthritis
-Migraines
-Muscles spasms in my neck
-Carpol tunnel in my right wrist
-TMJ

My best advice is to drink lots of water. Don't let yourself get even remotely dehydrated.

I have 5 to 6 stones a year and the ones i was able to pass was after a shot of pethidine and a good nights sleep.For pain at home i find beer helps me not sure why. Good luck .

My friend drinks an herbal infusion of 1 cup of chanca piedra 3X a day to expel stones. Seems to work for her.
