During CT scan in March for abdominal issue due to surgery, they stated i had a 8mm lesion in my kidney. I was never informed of anything but read it on my discharge papers after out of hospital. It stated a 8mm hyperdense indeterminate lesion in kidney. I questioned my colorectal surgeon about it and he sent films to urologist colleague to look at them. about 2 weeks later I was told by the urologist to get rescanned in 6 months and compare films. I did last month and it was still inconclusive, so I was ordered to do an MRI now. Which I did a few weeks ago. Colorectal surgeon stated it is a 1cm indeterminate lesion and the Urologist recommended to observe at this time and get another MRI in 6 months to see if anything has changed. I do actually have appt with this urologist next monday to discuss. I know this is very small, is this why its wait to observe?? I am scared to death its cancerous. If they were concerned that it was, would i have a different course of action?? Should i worry? dont know if it matters but, all bloodwork was normal..no symptoms of anything, like i stated, it was caught when looking at other issues...
