I am 29 years old and about 15 years ago I was diagnosed with hydronephrosis turns out my ureter was under developed and at the time I had a severe kidney infection so my mom made the appointment to the urologist who then stated my kidney function was low and also double in size I've under gone many surgeries and multiple stents and it seemed to help for a while, so recently I was hospitalized for the same thing severe kidney infection and blockage in my kidney again still no stones and yet again I found myself back again at the urologist stating my kidney is now half the size of a normal kidney I've had so far a stent placement and my ureter stretched out and still in a good deal of pain after the stent was removed a month ago my urologist doesn't seem to be concerned but now seems to think I have a problem with my muscle wall from previous surgeries I'm really at a loss and over the same old same old

Also would like to add that I've never had pain from when I do have a kidney infection until it's severe my concerned with this recent " flair up " is I lost a significant amount of weight and was very very tired all the time and my urologist wasn't concerned about any of it said it was normal which might be true but like I've told him this is the worst it's ever been
