I have foamy urine all the time and it seemed to have started after I began drinking about 4 quarts of water or more a day about 4 months ago. I became alarmed and had a urine and blood test but everything was normal and by doctor did not seem concerned at all. I am going to see a kidney specialist in a week to make sure that the tests did not miss a possible kidney disease although I feel completely healthy in every way. I also read that foamy urine can be caused by other factors and that it is a benign disorder that one should not worry about. Additionally, I read that pressure can build up in the bladder due to an enlarge prostate preventing complete emptying when urinating and that pressure can cause foam to develop because some urine remains in the bladder while you continue to drink. I am urinating far more frequently now since I started drinking a lot of water, so I am wondering if my bladder is always pressured, causing my urine to foam.
