Have had a 1.5 creatinine level for several years just went to 1.7. Just taken off BP meds ( lisinopril ) for a week then retest. I do weight training and aerobics 3 times a week which I understand can have an effect. Anyone else experience this?

Both my GfR and Creatinine went out of range when I was taking a couple of antibiotics.

Are you on any medications that can affect kidney function?

What is your GfR ?

I have the same problem. Currently starting the "journey of discovery." WHY?
My Liver Enzymes (ALT) are also high.
I am not a drinker and I don't understand why these blood levels are not normal.
Let us know what you find out and I'll do the same.

Are you hydrated enough? That can have an effect too.

Dear rans, My son was born very healthy but contracted pneumonia and was afflicted with chronic asthma afterwards. The medications caused igA Nephropathy. I see studies proving that co-q-10 (in form of Ubiquinol), taken daily will stop further kidney damage. Also learned of the benefits of Nettle seed for reducing Creatinine levels. The Nettle seed apparently increases kidney glomerula functions and reduces serum creatinine levels. Ubiquinol's easy to find. The nettle seed is not. I recently found a source for nettle seed which I've bought to make tincture .Sharing this information in case you're interested in reading about ubiquinol & nettle seed effects on the kidneys. My son stopped taking the blood pressure pills because 'kidney injury' is a known side effect and the constant fda recalls due to carcinogenic contamination. Gym supplements/protein powder type shakes can & do harm kidney function. Stay blessed.
