My belly is all swollen like a balloon from the iv steroids. plus I got the lousey mirgrains going on. I'm really tired but I'm hungry too and don't feel like fixing anything. The home health care will be coming out 2 or 3 times a week for at least the next 3 years. Unfortunately it's not gonna be set up for about 3 more weeks. I really can't afford to have somone come out and help me right now. Well right now I'm just rambling. I tried to read some posts but I know I won't remember it so I'll wait a couple of days and make another attempt to try to catch up. There are al;ot of tyhings I really want to kick around with ya but right now it's jst to much to wrap my head around.
anyway thank you all again so very much. My thoughts are with you always
God Bless

Carol, ((((((HUGS))))),
I'm glad you're home.  Thanks for checking in with us!  2-3 times a week for 3 years?!  That's amazing.  How do you feel about that?  That's a long time.  I hope that in much less time, you can tell them you don't need that service anymore because you're well!!  We'll all be praying for that to happen.
With the IV steroids, I found that drinking more water really helped.  I know what the bloat is like too.  What dose of steroids are you on now?
Keep well and stay positive Carol.  You're an inspiration to us.  You have tremendous patience and such a positive outlook.  Love ya sis!!

It is very good to read that you are home! You keep resting......Maybe your brother and sis-in-law could bring you some meals and help get your place in order. Or how about your church....any groups or "circles" or friends you could call on there? Don't be afraid to ask. This is a special situation so you definitely not "out of order" to ask for and get some help.

We love you and will be waiting for when YOU are ready to fill us in.

Carol, I'm glad you made it home okay. It's really too bad that home health can't start for a few weeks, especially now when you could probably really use it since you still aren't feeling well. I agree with emmi about seeing if your brother or any church friends could maybe help out for a little bit - getting some groceries, etc.

Get lots of rest and try to take extra good care of yourself.
