I just wanted to post and say that I had a "lupus-like" reaction to remicade, a drug I was taking for ulcerative colitis and it was absolutley debilitating for months.  I am finally feeling so much better and am thankful to not be living in that constant pain anymore.
I had gone to so many doctors who didnt believe me and made me think it was all in my head, im sure a frustration alot of you deal with.  Please know that I have felt the pain and it is NOT a good feeling.
Goodluck to you all and take care!

Ii hate that that you had that experience. My brother was diagnosed with Crohn's and UC at age 16. So, although I have not experienced, I watched him suffer immensley. He finally had his colon and 6 feet of his small intestines removed. He has the j pouch. So, no more colitis; occasional flares with Crohn's. He has 2 beautiful kids and one on the way! He's a tuff guy! God Bless you, Judy
