This week my sister in law gave me a huge suprise which both stunned me and honored me at the same time. I can't believe that anyone would do something so special in honor of me. Me!! Little ole me!! She lives in Alberta Canada and the tattoo shop in their town was doing a fund raiser for cancer. She went down to the shop with the intention of just donating money towards cancer and decided that she was going to get a tattoo. And before you wonder if I have cancer, I don't, just Lupus and RSD. But the tattoo that she got involves me. She decided to get a pink ribbon in honor of her Grandma who passed away from cancer and a purple ribbon for Lupus in honor of me. And she tattooed her Grandma's name on the pink ribbon and my name on the purple ribbon!!! The tatoo is about
4 inches long and 4 inches wide. It is beautiful and I still can't believe that she would ever do something like that for me!!!! Her Grandma I can understand, but me? I am just her sister in law, but I love her so much and I am so proud of her. I honestly didn't know what to say to her when she told me, other then cry and say Thank You. Wow what a gift of friendship she gave to me.
