I am new here and wrote this earlier but do not see it and I really want you to know how to get help financially with your meds.
Find out who makes your drug and look up their contact information to call them.  Most already have programs set up to help see if you qualify.  I did and now get my Cellcept and many others free.
Your patient advocate at your hospital may be also very helpful.  Please check this out!

Hi Gretchen, that's great. I'm glad you are getting help. I have insurance, thank Goodness, but I know there are a lot of people that either don't have it or they don't pay for everything. Meds are just out of control. Especially the new stuff they come out with. I'm sure my meds would be about 2 grand a month! I would hate to have to come up with it. My oxygen alone is 600 a month.
thanks again hun
and welcome to the group

Hi Carol-
I am still waiting for them to be sent to me so haven't gotten to know the ins and outs of all of this yet.  My husband's job was outsourced just a few years before he retired so he found a job that only pays half of what he used to make.  The new insurance is terrible.
I can't believe that you have to pay to BREATHE!  This is just ROTTEN!  Are you able to get out of the house to do things?  At least it would be away from Food Network!

Thanks for the welcome! I am glad we have some humor here because that is how I deal with things and not EXPLODE!

I see that some people have things like meds and diseases at the bottom of your notes and I can't figure out how to do this yet!

P.S. Steroids may cause sleeping problems so Ambien is my best friend now!

Welcome to the forum Pillz,

There is a clickable link for "Lupus Resources" topic at the end of my signature. In that topic, there is a post with a list of links to get help with prescription meds. . . in case it might help. Lots of other good info in that topic too.

You can create a signature by clicking on "Control Panel" in the upper left of the page. From there, you would click "edit profile" and you can create a signature there.
