Foul day in bed mostly. Home help left early without doing much BUT here is the nice bit...walked dog the WHOLE promenade by the sea, about
20min! With the chihuahua. I actually strode purposely, it was very hard but so pleased I did it, then driving home I wondered where I'd get a plain bit of food and I spied a place very near where I live with two tables outside AND a parking bay opposite the door.
Had spagetti and garlic bread followed by apple crumble and a pot of tea.
It was chilly, but I have a temperature prob so no prob. I put the dog in the car cos I was nervous she'd get cold, she was jumping up and down like crazy (great exercise for her short little legs), I gave her a bit of bread and got my wheelchair cushion and that made my dinner more enjoyable.
Everyone going in laughed at her and thought her hilarious and I laughed "she mine!!!!" I had lovely comments and once I said, "dont laugh, she's a rotwieller at heart!"
It really was pleasant.
I came in and my dog bolted for my bed and I roared with laughter, I gave her a chew stick for being a fab friend and now she is just jaded and happy.
There's my 'something nice'
I havent been out for a meal in about
20yrs!!!!!! Yes, I never go out and it was really nice.
My crohns will prob play havoc with that food, but it was very tasty indeed, indeed!
