It's important you get to the doc, even walk in, as soon as you can. One thing you can do is take the blood pressure in your leg. Is it cold? Do you have pigment problems? It sounds like some of the commercials describe about a deeper blood vessel problem. I have some vascular problems in my leg and I don't want to lose my left leg. I also have some problems on that side of my heart.
Nerve problems can be bad too, you can have a bad fall from them. But I also have that falling asleep, heaviness, skis for foot type problem and its nots necessarily from my back. The docs do things like take the pulse in different areas of the leg and foot. The jury's still out but they have mentiioned autoimmune vasculitis in the past.
I hope you feel better.
