Thank you Rosie and Judy (((hugs)))
Rosie, I'm still working.... Yeah. It's REALLY difficult. I do have an assistant to carry all my extra gear, but let me tell ya, photographing my style of weddings is extremely demanding on the body. I'm a candid/journalistic photographer. So lots of fast moving, crowching down, running ahead of people, in the heat... It was 95 degrees last Saturday. No wonder my feet and back and neck are so bad. I have 8 more to do this season. All of them are 12 hour days except for 2. I honestly don't know how I'm going to do it. I do have a friend who can take 4 of my weddings if I'm desperate. Thankfully, she isn't booked. BUT, that means I lose in upwards of $12,000 of income. I can't afford to lose them. So I'm going to "buck up" and get them done.
2009 is totally different. I"m only shooting one or two weddings each month instead of 4 or 5. I have to. I can't do this anymore! At least I'll have a life during the summer then! I can go on a vacation if I want! WOO HOO!! I've been doing this for a decade now. It's time for a break...
Love you guys!
