No news about the pet scan. pretty weird. It's been awhile. I have an appt on tuesday if all else fails. I've been pretty sick the past couple days. I couldn't figure out why. It finally hit me tonight why. I've been on antibiotics to keep me from getting lung infections. I take them every other day. When my meds came in the mail a couple of weeks ago I still several bottles of pills so I didn't even open the box. Well dah I was out of anti -b's I haven't taken them for two weeks and since I went off of them cold turkey after several months I'm real sure my body was just ready for an excuse to jump on me. Bang head on wall! anyway it's 4 in the morning and my cough had me up so I listened to some music. That song was on the puter they lift us up where we belong. I thought of the words and about our lives and I thought it was appropriate. So I'll just add this link and maybe it will bless someone elses morning.

Carol, thanks for the update - I was wondering how you were doing. I hope getting back on the antibiotics helps you feel at least a little better. Waiting for results is the pits, especially when it's something that's as big a deal as your lungs. (((((((Hugs))))))

Carol . . .

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! That sounds like something I would do!! Do you have to take them every day until you get your infection under control? I think I would talk to the Dr.'s office and see if you need a higher dose to get you back on track.

Thanks for the link.

I am sorry you are feeling low. I think I would likely do the same thing you did if I could mail order my meds. Thanks for the song link. It is a wonderful song I always forget about until I heard it again. I must find a copy and put it on my computer.

Hi Carol, most times when people takes abx, there is a reaction called the Herx reaction. The effects of a herx reaction can mimic the worst flu
When you're killing bacteria, the dead bacteria become biotoxins and stress the liver to work overtime. You can try to detox your liver while on abx. this usually helps

Hi Carol, so good to hear from you. Now if only you could hear from them. I'd be bugging them, that's me. But maybe the doc is out of the office for a while or wants another doc to look at the results, who knows. I imagine they are being really careful. I hope the weather there is cooling off and being nice, and that you are enjoying the fall!
