Hi all. I'm straying from my usual forays over to the Crohn's board. A friend of mine has been tentatively diagnosed with lupus (last round of bloodwork to confirm is pending), and she's concerned about perscriptions. She doesn't have any insurance, so just the doc visits are really hitting her hard. Are there any programs out there that I can suggest she look into, through manufacturers and such? I've already suggested that she talk to the doc about samples, as well as getting on teh state subsidized insurance, and the rx program at walgreens (i've heard some excellent stuff about that).

Over all, she's just glad that someone is finally trying to figure this out, and not just telling her she's nuts. They're pretty sure that this is what they're dealing with. If anyone has any suggestions or anything, I welcome that, too. One thing I've learned with Crohn's is that doing your own research is key, and if you can learn from where others have been before, so much the better.

Feel free to email me, as well.

Hi Gardenlady!!

Yes!   The following links were posted by Redrose in a previous topic.   But they have been copied into "Lupus Resources" (link at the end of my signature).

I hope this helps.
