Welcome to the Lupus forum Hydrangea!!
No you are NOT crazy. Dxing Lupus can be really difficult . . . especially when you are being treated for another autoimmune disease like Crohns. The Prednisone and the Imuran "could" make your ANA go negative. It is NOT necessary to have a + ANA to get a dx, but it is hard to get a dx w/o it. At the end of my signature, you'll find a couple of links. One is "4 of 11 Criteria". That one will show you the list of criteria and how Lupus is dx'd. It might be helpful to you . . . some of the symptoms might sound familiar and you'll have another item to add to your list.
I hope you do NOT have Lupus . . . but if you do, it would be good to know. Thing is, some of the meds are the same (prednisone and Imuran) . . .so you are actually being treated now.
Suggestion: See a rheumatologist. This is the the doctor who would be best at piecing things together for you.
