Hi DennyLynn. Pulmonary hypertension can be a serious illness of lupies, but I think it's really rare. I hope your rheumy figures this out soon. I know that sometimes it's hard not to worry, but try to take it easy. Your rheumy will not make a diagnosis any faster if you worry and you could end up in a big flare. Anyway, welcome to our forum! Hi Dennylynn:

Sorry to hear that you're having issues with pulmonary hypertension. I have pulmonary hypertension pretty bad. My pulmonologist has me on vigara 3 times a day to treat it. Apparently, it's a great medication to treat pulmonary hypertension. Also, it does not affect our libidos like it does men.

Good luck with the Cardio. My Cardio did a right sided heart cath to measure the pressures accurately. I'm in the high 30's. I normally get pericardi*** from my lupus. I wish you the best of luck and if you have any questions just let me know.

Take care,

Sorry to hear you are having issues with elevated ventrical pressure, I know exactly what that is like. It can truly be a scary experience. I am actually going through all of those issues at this time as well. Monday will be here before you know it though, so try to stay calm and hopefully you will get some much needed answers on when you meet with the cardiologist.

Keep us posted.
