I make a low cal Peach Melba smoothie with the diet V8 splash tropical blend and diet raspberry syrup like you put in coffee, not pancake syrup. I add a bit of frozen raspberries and peaches just for texture, a dollop of probiotic plain yogurt, whey protein powder with no soy or additives but amino acids, full spectrum digestive enzymes (I have to pry the capsules apart), half again water, and of course, fiber.
The result is yummy, low in potassium, low sodium, high fiber with the digestive enzymes and probiotics we need to digest anything we eat. Its so low in carbs and sugar free but is really good. And with the enzymes, the probiotics and the fiber, my gi tract at least has been right as rain. It really does make quite a difference!
The drawback is the sweeteners, but I use sparingly, and at least I'm getting the nutrition down despite nausea and its bearable. I wishmore products used stevia because I would use them.
