Hi Everyone,
I just had to post and let you all know that I just received my official "approval" or "award" letter from Social Security Disability! This is such a relief, I literally feel as though a ton of bricks has been lifted from my shoulders!
I am still officially employed, so I am in the process of contacting my employer to find out where I go from here as far as they are concerned. They will continue to pay my insurance for the rest of my life, as long as I am deemed "disabled". I am also working with my STD/LTD company, I need to find out where I go with them as well. So, I still have a lot of leg work to do, but hey I'm okay with that.
Whew, what a relief!

This is great news and gives hope to the rest of us. I just applied and the phone interview I had was with a less than compationate man. I can only imagine the crap that they hear all day......people just wanting help for no good reason. I am so glad that you are getting the help that you need and so deserve.

Thank you all for your kind words and support! I truly appreciate it! Yes, it truly is a HUGE relief. For all of you who have applied and are waiting for a response please know there is hope. If you need any information I do have some info I gathered along the way that I don't mind sharing at all. I will also keep you all in my prayers that you are awarded benefits and find the process and stress free and timely as I did.
