Had a fairly lengthy appointment, the doctor went through my symptoms, did a few tests like muscle weakness etc which seemed to be MS related, I was fine no real problems. Found out that my ANA was 1:640 - on it's own this doesn't mean much so she ordered 7(!) follow up tests, went for the blood tests and promptly passed out, what a numpty! Have to go back in a month for follow up appointment. She asked about my and my family history, asked if anyone had lupus in the family - not that I'm aware of, fibromyalgia yes. She obviously said she wasn't able to offer any treatment at this stage as they don't know what's wrong with me, hence the follow up tests. So now the waiting game again - back in a month for results.

You have taken the first step, I hope your follow up appt goes well. You are well on your way to finding out what's wrong! Hang in there, take care
