Hi King,
Sorry I don't have an answer for you . . . but here is a link to a search of the site for "joint cracking lupus" . . . I used the google "search site" button at the top of the page.   I know this came up a while back . . . but I don't remember the responses.

Hey King! I do have the extreme joint cracking. I have actually had that happen since I was probably 6 or 7. My brother does too, and he is going off to boot camp in June for the Army!! If I bend over, my back pops, bend down-knees pop, stretch -everywhere pops. Its the kind of cracking that makes people turn and say eugh, that sounded gross or eugh that sounded painful. For the mot part Mine isnt painful! I hope yours isnt. Not sure what causes it. I have always figured its something to do with my genes, 3 grandmothers have Rhuematoid Arthritus and one of them is disabled. I also get the buzzing/vibrating thing. I had never thought of it as a symtom until now. Sometimes it will be in my thighs and I will go to grab my phone and its not there. Othertimes it will be in my feet, knees, or even lower back. It happens several times a day. I will probably ask my rhuemy about that when i go back. Now I am curious as to what it is.
How is everything else going for ya King? Any luck with getting any results from tests back?

I have had the extreme cracking of the joints since this latest major flare started. I keep telling the doc's and Rheumy's about it but they don't seem interested. I have always been very flexible for a large guy, but I have lost this since the flare started. I think it's even effecting my eyes. I don't have any answer for you, but i hope it helps that you're not the only one with it.

Take care
