Hey everyone!

I havent been back for a while...Ive been so busy with school, doctors appointments etc..

AND I was recovering from a ruptured ovarian cyst that bled 6 units of blood into my abdomen!! it was painful...haha anyways I want to be here more often to offer and receive support from others :)

My question is about the oxycodone shortage and I was wondering if anyone knew if they were still backorder or not (since I have fibromyalgia and was recovering from the internal bleeding pain medicine has become a good friend lol) but I switched to taking tylenol 3 with codeine but it really doesnt work as well in terms of me being directly aware of pain...anyways if someone could shed some light for me I dont know whether or not to ask for oxycodone or tylenol 3 on my next refill..also, does anyone know of a drug that would be good for fibromyalgia pain? i was recently diagnosed with this one....

Thanks everyone!

Happy Easter

Oxycodone shortage is Gov't. and pharmaceutical company engineered. about to become generic, as they are frantically trying to Save Wall Street, gotta get anything going cheap off market, so we (meaning they) can sell Lyrica for 10.00 a pill. Follow the money.

sorry, back to your question; Vitamin D has helped me. Also, Robaxacet, OTC here. Tylenol 3 for bad, bad days. Flexeril will help for a couple months then be less effective. The mainstay for Fibro is Amyltriptilene, at bedtime. Actually 2 hours before bedtime as it's enteric coated and takes a while to get into your system.  Grumpie elf.

Hypothyroidism, Fibromyalgia, Facet Joint Syndrome, High Blood Pressure, menopause, Migraines, Chest Pain, Anxiety and Depression/BiPolar II
Synthyroid .075mg., estradiol.5 mgs., Amyltriptilene, 100mgs, bedtime, Tylenol 3 PRN (six-eight, daily), Valium 7.5mgs. daily prn. Flexeril, prn (not so helpful), Zoloft,150mgs., Zomig approx. 12 per month, prn., Meds for High Blood Pressure, vary.
