Has anyone ever had their legs blown up like double and triple the size and if you press in it feels like a waterbed??? THis is the first time this happen to me. Is it from my new med gabapentin?What on earth do I do?

Call your doctor right away . . . to swell rapidly and so badly requires medical attention. Let us know how things go, ok? Blessings!

I know what you are talking about....when you walk you can feel all the fluid moving and jiggeling around. Yes, deffinatly call your doc, probably will prescribe a diuretic if you can take them...They didnt work for me, actually made me get bigger! Let us know what the doc says!!

Yes I've had this too and definitely get to the doc. Since the doc put me on Furosemide for the swelling it has stopped. You'll have to take extra potassium because the diuretics strip your body of it, but it's no big deal.

Desirèe...Has the fluid retention gotten any better? Did your doc say it was from your new med? Hopefully it wasnt/isnt too painful, I know sometimes it can hurt like crazy! Thinkin about you!!!
