We have a member who is having trouble posting and thus sent me their question -- I'm posting it here for them and for you! :-)

I tried to do the forum to no avail ;-( I am trying to find out if there are OTC creams and/or lotions that I can purchase for my lupus breakouts. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks and have a great day!

I'm sorry you're having difficulty. I've never been prescribed anything topical for the lupus rash. Wish I had some advice. Judy

I'm not sure if there is anything OTC that can treat lupus rashes. Prevention... yes, with sunblock. If my sunblock fails me or I was in the sun too long (always try to prevent), my rashes are inevitable. My dermy has me on Locoid (topical steroid cream) to use on the spots to treat but you can only get that with a prescription.
