Good question. I never had a cavity in my life until shortly after the birth of my first child, that is also when the early symptoms of lupus started. As the lupus has progressed, the teeth have regressed!
I know my dentist said the sjogrens causes a lot of dental problems - could it just be autoimmune in general?
I take extra calcium citrate as well as a daily vitamin. Also started using "Oasis" - a mouth rinse that helps out with the dryness.
Good Luck. I have learned to really dislike going to the dentist!
