Hi Amy, Ginny, Stacie and Hippi. Eight months ago I started decreasing my prednisone 1 mg/ month. I got all the way down to 1 mg daily when everything fell apart; pain, fatigue, crying daily, argumentative, diarrhea, even my Sjogrens flared. I knew my depression was getting worse months ago, but I didn't do anything. I was so determined to get off my pred and lose weight. My rheumy, gastroenterologist, and psychiatrist are now all working together for me. I got a medrol injection and back to 4 mg of pred. My cholestyramine for diarrhea is timed so it doesn't bind with my other meds. As a start my psych doubled my wellbutin and I take buspar. I still cry daily, but now I'm trying to be at least somewhat social. I have awful thrush. Itching and all the other Sjogrens issues. I could go on but it makes me cry. Thanks for checking on me Amy. Love, Butterflake
