thanks. unfortunately my blood work never offers any clues. it is always clean. I am wondering what the pelvic xray will show since he was talking about
my spine and how enbrel should not have affected the pain I have from it. Enbrel has made it so I can walk without feeling like my spine is being ripped out of my body and crushed at the same time. It was horrible until my old rheumy decided I needed to go on first humira and then enbrel to control the RA. It controls the RA very well and a side benifit was that it controls the pain in my spine, something no one has been able to explain and something no one expected. I think he is screening for a really nasty disease of the spine with the xray. I am still not sure if I like him yet or not but he seems willing to accept I have lupus with a negative ANA something I had thought would be difficult to get any other rheumy to do without me going off all meds so they could witness all the problems. Instead he wants to maintain my meds and is looking into something my old rheumy didn't follow up on because she was so busy dealing with all the other stuff.
