May I ask, what each of you individually go through during a Flare?
How it begins, what you feel, your symptoms during & how it ends??

But those who wait on the LORD will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

Joint and muscle Pain, Flu like symptoms, edema in feet, ankles, dark and foamy urine (from Kidney problems due to lupus) Sometimes I get exhausted and sleep all the time and then somtimes I can't sleep because of the pain, and very emotional...which I blame on all the pain. I have had pluerisy 3 times which is very painful. Sometimes I get migraines with bright lights and "sun Spots" in my vision, dizzy...The list can go on and on, overall I feel horrible but it depends on the day.

I can't really say how it ends because I have been in a flare for almost 3 years. There was a period when I was first put on high doses of pred and had 1000 mg through IV for 3 days in a row that I seemed to be symptom free and it was amazing. So I really cant answer your last question.

I also was asking about what a flare is because I read about the pain. I have unspecfic connective tissue disease and body hurts the worst in the morning I don't want to get out of the hot shower. But as day goes on I feel better and work a 40 hour a week desk job. I am so easily tired, knees hurt, extremely blurred vis. It is worse now with cold weather but I can't say the pain is bad enough that "I AM IN PAIN" Just constant aches and stffness. I am only 51 and feel so much older.
unspecific connective tissue disease   Diabetes   possible sleep apnea  vitamin D deficient  Anemia
Plaquenil   Vitamin D   Glucophage Folic Acid
