I am just wondering if anyone else has missed a period due to a flare.  My husband and I are trying to have a baby, and I am almost a week late with my period.  I have taken 2 tests (the first one malfunctioned) and the test I took today said I wasn't pregnant.  So, I looked up reasons for a missed period, and a brief illness - my flare or stress are what I've narrowed it down to.  I'm too new to know if this may be common to actually miss a period due to a flare.
I am going to wait a few more days and take another test if I don't get my period, and I may even just go to the clinic and have them do a blood draw test.  I had an ectopic 3 years ago, and I really don't want to have to go through that again.  I was almost 11 weeks along when we figured it out, so I had to have the surgery and ended up losing my right tube.  Our goal would be to catch it as early as possible to hopefully save the tube should it happen again.
Any imput would be helpful.  Thanks and take care!

My periods get messed up when my lupus is really active. I don't know why it just happens.
