Lupus, MS, and celiac disease are among the best known autoimmune diseases that can cause neurological symptoms. Another frequent culprit (not an autoimmune disease) is Lyme disease, which is far easier to catch than most people (including 99% of doctors) realize. Lyme disease can also cause a boatload of neurological problems.
Many of us have spent months or even years trying to get a diagnosis....I know it's frustrating, and I feel for you. It's very stressful to have something wrong but not to know exactly WHAT is causing it!
There are many forums on this board and I have frequented most of them at one time or another, LOL! You don't have to have a firm diagnosis to become part of most of the groups here; there are some very wise and understanding people here who can really help you through the bad times.
