Hello Everyone,
For those of you with Peripheral Neuropathy I was wondering if heat makes your symptoms worse? I have heat intolerance already and I've noticed that as it's gotten hotter my neuropathy in my legs is worse. More pain...worse symptoms etc. Just curious if it was a flare or if it's the weather. Hope everyone is having a great day. Thanks for any info.

Hey Melissa,

I don't have PN, but I do have a pretty severe heat intolerance. I think heat affects our Lupus and all the other syndromes we get. Have you brought this up with your rheumy?

Mine's cold, I'm always cold. REally cold. Bone chilled, to the core. Cold.
My feed corn sock (an old tube sock filled with kernals of feed corn from the farm store and sewed up on the end), heated in the microwave for 3 minutes 45 seconds, is the best thing I now sleep with! My feet and lower legs burn and tingle and ache on top of that. But did I mention that I am ALWAYS cold?
hugs, suetoo
God knows, even if I don't....
