I went to ER yesterday because I gained 10 lbs in 24 hours. which signals CHF. and of course I couldn't jus call my doctor because she was out of town. (again) won't be back until tuesday. Anyway they drew blood took an xray said I'm fine and sent me home. I didn't want to go in the first place but my home health nurse made me. I hadn't peed in over 24 hours. I finally took 180mil. of lasix and started to pee a little bit. After I came home I pretty much slept the whole time  until now. My neice (she's 13) came home and climbed in bed with me and watched some movies. which was nice to at least not be all alone. I can't hardly talk my throat hurts my ears and glands hurt. and I'm ready to go back to sleep. Anyway bottom line is I wanted you to know I'll probably be sleep for a ffew days if you don't here from me. So not to worry. Keeping you all in my prayers and even closer to my heart.

(((Carol))) I'm glad you went to the ER even if they didn't do jack. I know if you felt better you'd want to do Jack (tee hee!) Well it's good you can cuddle with your niece. Get lots of rest. I love you Sweetie. Donna

LOL Oh Donna I can't beleive you said that. My head hurts so bad I can't barely move it but I wasn't expecting your comment. Now it hurts even worse! Lousey Lupus migraines! Yeah you're right about jack and joe and john. Some how I wind up with my dog and my neice! What's wrong with this picture? It's kind of the story of my life. shakehead . Still can't pee though. I do worry about the congestive heart failure  though. I still can't swollow.  Do you ever feel like giving up? Oh wait a minute you got the boyfriend I forgot. Does he have a brother?

Hey Carol! Will deffinatly be thinking about you and if you keep gaining weight, please go back to the ER! Please get the rest you need and let us know how you are doing when you feel up to it!!!

Carol, I had a feeling that you've been getting worse, and I'm sorry the hospital sent you home. Sounds like you have a good nurse. Do you like her? I wish you had a doctor who was more available to you.

sad Carol, I know that you need more help and I don't want you to give up living in your own house. If we all put our heads together, I just know that something will come up that will make your life easier. Have you ever thought to ask your aide if she or the company pays for her gas or mileage? I'm anxious to find out if you can get some help on the weekends.

Keep your chin up. Things will work out.

Sounds more like kidney failure to me. Urinary retention, 10 lbs of fluid... can just be a really bad kidney infection also. Need a u/a. With no chest pain or diff with breathing/clear lungs doesn't sound like CHF. Can't believe they didn't check your kidney function. All it takes is 2 tubes of blood! Get that checked pronto!

hi everyone, well I just wanted to stop in long enough to say thank you for the posts. I have a lung infection and can barely get out of bed. doc has me on 750 levequin. I've been crying quiet a bit I'm so tired of fighting this. I can only sleep about an hour at a time. I am eating fruit and sourdough bread. that's about all I can get down. I lost 6 lbs yesterday yeah . I'm pushing myself to do some treadmill sessons about 30 seconds at a time. I thought it would keep my muscles from deterioriating. I'm still looking for the male physical therapist I can show muscles off too. (yeah right). tongue . well I don't have my health, I do have humor and I can still dream.

love you all gonna go back to bed now.

Bless your heart sweetie! You have such a good sense of humor, even when you are so down...((Gentle Hugs)). I hope the infection clears up soon, so you can pump up the muscles of that Male Physical therapist...:)
