Yesterday evening I started feeling tired and when I went to bed last night my muscles felt achey. When I woke this morning I felt  nauseated and my joints were aching especially my knees and my shoulders which was getting worse as the day went by. They were making audible popping noises. I called the rheumy and he said to take and extra dose of prednisone for the next couple of days or until I felt better.  This is kind of weird I started having a dry cough a couple of days ago and I also did that with the last flare.

I was doing so good. It has been only 3 weeks to the day since I flared and was diagnosed. I hope I don't have a flare up every 3 weeks.

Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow. Hopefully the increase in prednisone will keep this flare from being as bad as the last one.

Hi Robin. I want to know how you're feeling too. It's so tough when flares come one right after the other. I hope you were prescribed enough pred to kick it. When you feel up to it give us an update. Love, Butterflake

I increased my prednisone to 20mg for a couple of days and that seemed to do the trick. I feel alot better today. I mowed to today and after I mowed when my daughter reached me a coke zero my hand starting shaking and soon as I grasped it  I reached and got it with the other hand it started shaking. I posted a new topic to see if anyone else has had the same thing happen. The same thing happened when I reached to get the shampoo in the shower right after that. It was scarey.

Robin, it's bad for us to be in the sun, but when you're flaring it can be disastrous. Please take care of yourself.
