Hi I am new and happy to be a member of this forum.  I have been doing some research since I have been seeing a Rheumatologist and she has referred me to a hemotologist she says to "be on the safe side".  The problem is that I have some high reading for Gamma Globulin which is 2.6 and the total Globulin is 4.6 which is considered high even though the norm is 2.0 - 4.5, for the Gamma Globulin the norm is 0.5 - 1.6 so I'm concerned now.  From what I researched, people that have auto immune illness can have high Globulin totals.  She says that it looks like I have MCTD and signs of Sclerdoma.  All the other protein readings are normal except the Gamma and Globulin total.  I just want to know if anyone has had similar readings.  My Sedimentation Rate-Westergren is 124.  Any feedback would be greatly apprecieated as my appointment for the Hemotologist is not until 10/6.  Thanks.
