Hey Carol,
I know that we don't always chat that much together but I always read your posts and try and follow you and how you are doing.  I haven't seen you post anything lately and wonder if you are okay?  Just checkin on ya, girl.  Oh, by the way, how are your kittens doing?  My son's girlfriend found one about 8 weeks ago and was going to keep it, but now we have it and he is sooooo cute, but lordy, he keeps me and the other cats on our toes!!  He's broken vases, he chews on my sandals and leaves big holes in them and can be quite the character.  I think he thinks he is a dog.  I forgot how much energy these little ones have!!  Anyways, I hope you are okay,.

Hi Lynnette:

Just wanted to let you know that Carol is getting by. She's had a lot of things on her plate and she's been taking a break from HW. She may see this post and respond, but if not I wanted to let you know that I speak to Carol at least once a day and she's doing the best she can.

Take care,
Barbara

Thanks Barbara for letting me know.  The next time you talk to her let her know I've been thinking of her and I hope things are looking up.  I just so enjoy her sense of humor around everything and when I've had some bad days her posts have lifted my spirits.  Hopefully she will join us again real soon.  Love, Lynnette

Hi Diva, thanks for checking on me that's very sweet of you. Why is it that the kids drag home the animals and suddenly we have them for the next 20 years? My (free) kittens have cost me around 400 bucks so far. and tabitha gets fixed next week and simon get fixed next month. She's a little bittie thing and he's a horse! and yes one of the first things they broke was a huge indian vase I had. Of course when I asked who did it they looked at each other. Today I was laying down on my king size bed I always sleep on one side. I turned my head over and there they were she was in the middle with her head on one pillow and he was on the other side with the other pillow. Man if I had a smaller bed they probably would have thrown me out!
Anyway I spent a couple of days in hospital last month to get my meds cut down. It helped but I can't say much about the accomedations. (ever seen steven king the stand)? Anyway now I'm fighting a flu bug but I broke into a sweat today so I'm hoping it's on the way out. It's going around here so of course I'll get it too. The good thing is I think I lost about 10 lbs since thursday. I started counseling last thursday. The intake took about 3 hours. How do you answer a question like, "have you ever commited suicide?" and that wasn't even the dumbest one. But hopefully it will help in a long run and I can get off some of more of my meds.
Welll I gotta go. thanks again I hope your free kitty is doing well and of course I hope you are well as well.
Thank you Barb forletting her knowlove ya!
God bless

Hey Carol,
I'm so glad your back home! You sure have been through the ringer lately. Why is is that the only good thing about getting sick is that we lose weight.  It all stinks!!  And yes, I know what you mean about the money factor with the animals.  Just made another appointment to take Tomas in because he needs his booster shot, but his one eye has been running lately so he needs to get checked out.  I'll probably walk out of there dropping another hundred and then deciding how I'm going to have to cut back on groceries this week so my cat can see! Yee Hah! Oh but the unconditional love they give is just the best.  It seems like when we don't feel good, they understand.  I wouldn't trade them for anything.  It's been proven that having animals makes people feel better both psychologically and physically and I truly believe it.  Anyways, I hope the counseling works well for you, keep us posted please.
Hugs and Angels,
Lynnette

Hey Carol. It's so good to hear from you. I hope your counseling goes well. I didn't click with my first two, but the third counselor is a good match for me. Barb, if she doesn't see this let Carol know that I think of her often and keep her in my prayers. Love Ya Both! Donna
