I have had a wild ride this last 3 months, but the end result was a diagnosis of undifferentiated Connective tissue Disease...and Antiphospholipid Syndrome. Anyone else have some words of wisdom they can impart?

Hi sweetbutterfly, I can't help you with those particular problems but many people here can. Maybe if you go back to your post and use your pencil to the side. Click on it and go back to the topic and put UCTD and AS you might catch someone who can help you. I'm glad you decided to come stop in and ask questions. Sometimes peple get a little busy around here but other times they are right on top of things. They are compassion and strong men and women. A chronic illness will cause that in a person. You don't know what you can do until you get put to the test.
anyway welcome to the family I home you find a comfortable home here.

My biggest words of wisdom....Always take your medicine...do not stop even if you are feeling better. The only time to stop is if your doctor says to or tells you its ok if you want to stop. 2nd...listen to your body. If it needs sleep....Sleep!!! You will only do more damage (bigger flares, etc) if you do not listen to what your body says! It is deffinatly a roller coaster ride but whenever you need to talk, vent, be encouraged...You have found a great place here :)!!! Welcome to Healing Well :)

Hi Sweetbutterfly. Several folks here have UCTD and/or antiphospholipid antibodies, but I'm the lupus, fibromyalgia, sjogrens variety. I hope someone comes along to impart wisdom re your diseases.  Everyone should listen to Amy's advice and get all the sleep you can although I don't always listen like I should! A good rheumatologist is right up there on things to have too. Welcome to our forum. Love, Butterflake
