My doctor is now suspecting Lupus, as I have begun to exhibit several symptoms not explained by a fibromyalgia diagnosis. I have had all the tests, Rh factor, ANA, with every test except Sjogrens & Hashimotos (hypothyroid for 7 years) being completely normal.  In fact in September, I have severe lung inflammation, nodules, increased thickening of the lung lining and pleurisy and diagnosed pneumonia lasting 4 weeks.  My bloodwork was normal. No increase in WBC, RBC or everything else...except eosinophils!  My level is 15.4, which is supposed to be under 5.0!
Does anyone else have elevated eosinophils?  I am trying to figure out what is going wrong with my body.  I have insomia, hot flashes/chills, sweating, fatigue, muscle spasms, fever, inflammed lungs (3x in 8 weeks), sore joints, migraines, mouth ulcers (very painful), facial redness, severe anxiety/depression, back pain, neck pain (my whole spine hurts).  Oh, did I mention comprised immune system...my kids have made me sick four times in 9 weeks!
Dx:Fibromyalgia, Hashimoto's, Sjogren syndrome, +ANA (Speckled), Spondylolisthesis, Scoliosis, Migraines, Anxiety/Depression, Ovarian Cysts, Spinal stenosis, L4/5 herniated discs, Sexual Dysfunction
Meds:Cymbalta, Zanaflex, Synthyriod, MS Contin, Savella, Advair

ME!   I started off 3 years ago with ONLY that showing. HIGH Eosinophils. Not allergic to anything.
Took another 2 years before a +ANA (Speckled) high ESR and CRP appeared.
Diagnosis finally Lupus with Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Bloodwork okay now (except Eosinophils! STILL off the charts) with the help of 40mg per day Prednisone, 2000mg per day Cellcept, Cholchicine, Ozemorprole, Calcium and Vit D.
Even with the inflammation under control according to the bloods i still have a lot of the problems you are describing, and the worst cough! Pulmonary function tests way off and blood oxygen levels between 88% and 92%. Its a learning curve that is for sure!
It is my understanding that the high Eosinophils for us means the presence of our Lupus. (or other auto immune...)
