i've been diagnosed with sle, curtaneous lupus, sjogrens syd, raynauds syd and fibro I've been managing quiet well until twelve months ago then everything seemed to fall apart. I had to give up my job and have had one flare after another I have been on high doses of predisone and without fail every time I'm weened off I have another flare and have to start the process all over again. The thing I'm finding hard is trying to work out what disease is causing my problem at the time how do I tell the difference when they all have such similar symptoms. I would appreciate any feed back you are able to give me as I'm feeling very lost at the moment. Also has anyone come across any meds that will help with gaining tears or saliva. Keep wellVIEW IMAGE

Welcome to the board.   I have been taking evocax to help produce salivia and it seems to have helped.....ask your doctor about it.

I cannot tell the difference between the SLE and Sjogrens symptoms  either- they overlap.    Do you keep a journal about symptoms you are having?  Also include activities and food, maybe if you had a glass of wine...I know you know, but some things trigger a flare and it could be something you  discover in a journal.  Plus, it is good to have it handy when you go in to see the doc.
I'm so sorry- it is hard.
