I have real bad muscle weakness and fatigue, I can hardly get off the couch and my head feels SOO heavy and I dono what to do will wed, it has been so long since I had a flare. What should I do? I was on steroids not to long ago for fibro leg pain and im still all puffy from that :(

Oh a odd question, before I had my daughter my lupus flares came as hives and that was it. Well now that I have had her they come in these weird muscle weakness eposides how is that possible?

Hey there Dani,
I agree with Possi.  Even if they haven't seen you yet I would think they could prescribe you something to get you to Wednesday.  If not, what about contacting your general practitioner.  I'm assuming you have one.  If not, do you have any walk-in clinics in the area like an MEA or something on that lline.  You could tell them that you have an existing apptment to see a new rhuemy on Wednesday and I'm sure they could help in some way.  As far as how your flares pop up differently since you've had your daughter is puzzling, but that's how lupus is.  Has a mind of it's own and exhibits symptoms different for everyone.  Make sure you write down all pertinent questions that you need to ask your new rhuemy so you don't forget when you get in there.  Good Luck!
