Does anyone ever get itchy for no apparent reason? No pain pills have been taken. Skin is not abnormally dry. I am itching everywhere...I mean Everywhere confused   To my face, eyes, all the way to my ankles (nope, not my feet). It has been going on for days now and I have no idea what it could be!!! Has this happened to you?

Actually I just got out of a hot bath!! And that is when I started getting very itchy. I didnt even think about being hot/cold until you mentioned this! Hmm

I do get the ant feeling in my hands and feet. But that started immediatly when I started taking Cyclosporine so I figured that it was causing it but it helps me more than anything else EVER has (besides pred) and i figure I can put up w/ some things for something to help!!!

I get itchy like that sometimes -- have you been eating a lot of sulfuric vegetables, accidentally taken a med with sulfur as a base, been in a lot of hot baths, been in a lot of warmly heated rooms, used any new detergents, slept on sheets washed with new products....

Generally if I use a LOT of lubriderm for a few days it passes....

Of course, now that you made me think about itching I'm itching like crazy! All over! Yes, even my feet. Places I can't even reach to scratch. This is crazy! Wish I could fill the bathtub with warm lotion and loll for a while.

LOL Lynn! Thank you for that laugh :)! I will get some lubriderm tonight when i pick up my Rx's! Hopefully that will help. Maybe I am taking too many hot showers. I will say, at night I have been having night sweats and wake up drenched. So I wash my sheets the next day, maybe it is something to do with my bedding! Now that you mention it, I think we changed the type of fabric softner we use.

Thanks for the help :)!

Are you getting hives along with the itchy? I get the hot red spots, then hives, then itch... itch... itch...

The doctors say hot water is the worst thing for it.. Try some benedryl and think back on what you ate or wore.. Tends to do the trick. If all else fails go get one of those handy dandy shots in the tush... POOF! hives and itching all gone!

Hope this helps!!

sounds like an allergy- could be a drug (I get this when I take antibiotics) or a soap in your bath, or your laundry detergent, or what you cleaned the tub with, or (if it weren't lasting so long) something you ate.
I find it interesting that it started after a bath, which is why i wonder if you're allergic to your bubble bath or household cleaner.
Sometimes a sauna can help push the offending substance out of your system.
