I just finished writing this and hit the wrong key and it disappeared. Talk about fog...lol
OK, I've been to the Rhmy acouple of times and have had blood tests but I still have no answers.
Don't know if I have lupus or what's going on. I have posted on thyroid disorders, fibro and here before.
So here I go again.
I 've had hypotyroidism for about 10 yrs. I'm going to a new Endo this month.
I've been having much more pain and other problems, so I went to a Rhmy.
I would like to know what all of you think about the following test results, if any thing:
ACE - High 98
LDH - High 259
Ferritin, Serum - High 265
C-Reactive Protein, Quant - High 9.0
I know that the ACE is showing I have too much iron in my system for some reason.
I also have tissue damage from something.
Any input into this would be great.
I also have NO lupus anticoagulant.
Thanks
May the sun shine on you and warm your heart.

cry  I have been recovering from Breast Cancer and happen to have a blood clot on wrist.  No one knew what it was.  I went from doctor to doctor.  Now finally I was sent to hemotoligist and he called and said that I tested positive for
lupus antigoagulant.  I also just got back a siliva study that I did with a big cancer hospital and it said I should be checked for iron overload..Help I wonder what the link is between cancer and lupus anti coagulant?????  These stories sound similar.. I also have the thyroid problem... My doctor has not pout me on medicine and at christmas I felt like I had a mini stroke.  In addtion I have seizure or at least that's what they are treating me for.  Forgive my run on sentences I just don't know what to do

I just saw the oncologist and they are sending me back to the hemotologist.  Blood results are iron over load and positive for lupas anti coagulent.  I did ask if there is a link between lupus anti coagulent and cancer they said no. So I seem to learn a very small amout of information each time.  I'll keep you posted after  I talk to the hemotoligist
