Flu shot and Pneumonia shot

I was reading an older post about allergy shots being bad for people with lupus. Do you think the same goes for flu and pneumonia shots? I had both when I was in the hospital a few weeks ago.

Absolutely not.  Those of us who have autoimmune diseases need to get these shots since we are much more prone to getting ill.  My rhuemy recommends it, or should I say pretty much orders it every year as far as the flu shot goes.  The pneumonia shot should last at least 5 years I was told.
