Hello. I was diagnosed with lupus in 2008. I have been controlling it with medications, lots and lots of different ones, but so far, I have not had any severe problems. Currently, I take Prednisone, Lyrica, Tramadol, Spironalactone, Topamax, and Voltaren.
Anyways, about the last week I have had nausea (comes and goes), shortness of breath, itching all over, and back pain of about a 7 on a 1-10 scale. It is getting worse everyday and now I am starting to get a little worried. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I know lupus causes alot of symptoms, but this is the worst I have felt in 3 years. Can someone help me?

shortness of breath and back pain...I would deffinatly call your doctor about those. Those can be very serious symptoms and nothing that should be taken lightly. The nausea can come from severe pain or even with the Voltaren. Has the pain happened today? Is it something that comes and go like the nausea or steady pain?
