Anyone with Thyroid & AI?

Just when I thought I was beginning to feel better, I find out that I have a multinodular goiter. My ENT is sending me for an ultrasound guided biopsy next Friday because 2 of the nodules are solid. Not sure what will happen after that but I am tired of fighting to be well! Just when I started feeling like I was coming out of my flare... I get this news!
Anyone else deal with this type of thing?

I was hoping to get some sort of response from anyone with thyroid issues due to AI disease.

From what I have read it can go hand in hand....

Just 2 months ago I was where you are now. Now I am a cancer survivor. I also have an autoimmune disorder but the only official diagnosis so far is fibromyalgia. Just got some blood work done for rheumy today because of some symptoms/flare.

I, too, feel like no sooner than one thing gets cleared up, I am having new symptoms, or more severe ones. Some of these include: iron deficiency (even had to have transfusion), B-12 deficiency (have to have shot every month), and thyroid cancer (had it removed, radiation treatment and am on synthroid) and Fibromyalgia.

So, I guess I could say that I have AI and thyroid issues. What exactly would you like to know? I will see if I can help.

I'm hypothyroid and just told I have AI (not sure which one yet).
